One of the best career advices I ever got was the question: Are you adding new projects to your resume on a 6 month interval basis you can call as career changing?
With today’s announcement of Bitdefender‘s partnership with Scuderia Ferrari F1 team, not only a dream comes true, also the end of a long period of about 6 months of work is coming to a close. Now the real work is starting.
From a young age I’ve been following Formula 1. Although the driver’s championship changes year by year, with a number of dominant drivers in the last 30 years, there is no team with a more loyal fanbase to the team as Ferrari.
From a brand perspective, working with Ferrari and seeing the Bitdefender brand next to the prancing horse is a beautiful sight. Not everybody can afford a Ferrari road car, however, a lot of people dream to take a drive, let alone own one. It’s what we call an aspirational brand.
For the coming months, I’m getting the privilege to lead the project within Bitdefender. It will be a steep and giant learning curve, and something I can add to my resume as the new project over the last, and coming 6 months.
